Undecided? Hardly…
October 10, 2008
What is with this talk from “undecided” voters that they are disgusted with how McCain’s campaign is attacking Barack Obama, I want to say something; GIVE IT UP, NO ONE BELIEVES YOU! Look at this one, this guy is using “Kool-Aid” rhetoric, a true sign of a “believer”…
Oh my goodness…think about it. If you were trying to rehab your career in education…would you promote you horrible acts from 20 years ago to your NEW colleagues?? NO. DO NOT FOLL YOURSELF. Is is possible that Obama knew, BUT this CAN BE a NO. Also (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT), There were (2) other republicans on that education board that now campaigning with McCain !!!!! Who’s judgment are we questioning here. I think the McCain camp should look in the mirror and answer a couple questions them selves. I would like to know why the McCain camp is also palling around with terrorist. – INDEPENDENT PA VOTER
This isn’t the worst, but the fact that he goes out and defends Obama’s connection to Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn shows he is ignoring the Connie Chung interview of 1998, as well as the variety of reports that followed after two police officers were murdered during a bank robbery by two former Weathermen. Do a Youtube search of “Ayers” and you will get videos of this guy discussing openly his radical history. Anyone who spent five minutes with this guy could see this, let alone seven years working on the Chicago Anneberg Challenge and the Woods Fund with the man. He is either VERY STUPID for not knowing (goes to his poor judgment) or he is lying about his relationship (which goes to his untrusting nature). Next “undecided”…
This country believes in Innocent until Proven Guilty. Yes, Ayers case was thrown out because of a technicality but even those who were convicted were pardoned by President Clinton. Ayers has turned his life around and become a model citzen and contributor to society. Even if Obama were friends with Ayers, which he was not, there is no reason to be ashamed. Ayers should sue the McCain campaign for defamation of character.
Huh? Another “undecided” who is definitely “not on this planet”. This isn’t the first time I heard this argument. Some idiot today posted the same garbage in the comments of another post I wrote. Firstly, YES, we know now that Obama and Ayers were more than just “neighbours”. Bill Ayers gave this man a political “coming out” party at his home, his wife Dohrn was a co-worker of both Michelle and Barack before this, Barack even worked SIDE BY SIDE with this man on the Chicago Anneberg Challenge and the Wood Funds, so don’t even believe that they weren’t on good terms with each other. That is the first mistake, the second is in defending this man’s actions by saying he has “reformed” and that he has been a positive impact on his community since his actions with the Weathermen. First off, calling a man who brags about his bombings a “terrorist”, isn’t defamation of character. No judge in their right mind would hear that case, let alone rule in his favour. Next, just because he funds radical education programs, doesn’t mean he has repented. This is a man who has repeatedly said that he would turn to violence again if necessary. From people who continue to push this idea that “violence is not the answer”, this is hypocrisy at its finest. Notice how he didn’t say who he supported? Next…
There were remedies for the sister and she should have used them. Todd Palin pushed this issue knowing he was using Sarah Palins’s influence. Ask yourself, if this guy was so bad, why didn’t the family get an order of protection? That would have resulted in repercussions on his job. The Palin’s couldn’t, this was revenge for the Palins, pure and simple. Another reason not to elect McPalin.
This is in response to a story about Todd Palin. Ignoring the numerous stories right now about Obama, the majority of the MSM has decided to go after a man who has done nothing wrong. I repeat, HE HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG. Do your research, he was talking casually with someone about why he felt Mike Wooten should be fired for his behaviour. Only the MSM could make Wooten, a man who threatened the life of Sarah Palin’s father and tasered his own 11-year old step-son, a victim. I will say it, I think Wooten should be fired for being an absolute disgrace to the uniform he wears and I think Walt Monegan, a man who couldn’t do the job he was hired to do, deserved being canned. I have seen people fired for less, and yet they want to villainize the Palins. While this poster hasn’t identified their political leaning, it is easy to see who they are supporting in this election. The fact is that they want to appear “undecided” to help convince the weak-minded to vote for Obama. Next…
If he has the money to spend it’s his right to do so. I’m sure if McCain can come up with the money he’ll do the same thing. McCain has certainly been spending the money on the negative advertising that he said at the beginning of his campaign he wasn’t going to be a part of. As an independent it’s one of the things thats leaning me towards Obama. McCain wanting to do a smear campaigne rather then talk about the issues.
Yet another “independent” wanting to talk about the issues. “maxie” ignored McCain’s recent economic proposals to parrot Obama’s talking points. Don’t fool yourself, we all remember the MSM’s brutal attack on Trigg Palin, Bristol Palin and Sarah Palin herself once she got nominated. CNN’s John Roberts lost most people’s respect when he decided to question whether or not the Governor could be Vice President since she had a “special needs” baby. Did you forget about that one “maxie” or is your memory as selective as a CNN reporter’s? Obama wants people to think he cares about the issues because his character is TOO WEAK to take an assault. Sure enough, this sad excuse for man decided to call McCain a coward for wanting to settle the bailout bill instead of debate with him. Listen Barack, he stood up to five years of torture at the hands of people who chased the Khmer Rouge out of power, so you know he isn’t scared of a man who gets the entire MSM to fight his battle for him. “maxie”, if you really care about smear campaigns, where were you when Obama made his “lipstick on a pig” comment? A pathetic partisan hack like you won’t fool Americans, no matter how much you say you are an independent. Next…
Why is McSame “pallin’ around with people who know Bill Ayers? Oct. 8 – On Wednesday morning, John McCain’s campaign released a list of 100 former ambassadors endorsing the GOP presidential nominee. Second on the list, though her name is misspelled, is Leonore Annenberg, currently the president and chairman of the Annenberg Foundation and widow of ambassador and philanthropist Walter Annenberg. Ms. Annenberg was herself the “chief of protocol” at the State Department under President Reagan. If the last name sounds familiar, it’s because it also graces the name of the Chicago education board where Barack Obama and William Ayers sat in the room six times together.
Meeting with someone who knows the person isn’t the same as knowing the person himself. This idiot has decided that they can forgive Obama of his “sins” because McCain is “guilty” of something similar. This train of thought “magic32″ shows obvious bias. You can’t damn one while forgiving another simply because you like the other more. I have slapped both Republicans and Democrats for mistakes I believe they committed together, like letting the first bailout package fail. I do have a bias towards John McCain because I believe, as imperfect as he is, his lifetime of accomplishments and love for his country is something that should be admired. This person comes out from the shadows, strikes with ignorance and fades away hoping no one noticed their partisan stance. These people are cowards because they refuse to present themselves honestly, allowing for critical analysis of their claims. You aren’t “undecided” when you play these games. Next…
…have you seen the type of church Palin goes to? Encouraging children to lay down their lives for the gospel and to “wage war” on people who don’t believe in Jesus or who “don’t believe in him enough?” That is not acceptable Christian or any other behavior. Have you ever thought that Obama is reaching out to many different people to work on peace and creating a better community, country and world? His way is a lot more effective than bomb, bomb, bombing Iran!
Another “invisible” partisan making an ignorant claim. What we are seeing now is that the MSM is attacking Palin’s religious beliefs while ignoring Barack Obama’s. Remember that Obama was at Trinity United for twenty years and left only when he was pressured to do so. Sarah Palin, on the other hand, left her church when she started realizing that her beliefs didn’t match those being pushed by congregation. I myself made the same decision when my local parish became too extreme for me to follow, not because I was losing points in a nomination race. This person is ignoring the racist rhetoric that Obama and his wife soaked in for two decades, ignoring that Palin herself is no longer a member of that church, to take a “below the belt” shot at a woman who’s only crime is being on the wrong ticket. This isn’t the only “independent” I found on this forum attacking from the shadows…
…why don’t you take a look at peacegirl’s commentary. She hits the nail on the head. Palin actively supports the Alaska Independence Party (of which her husband has been a member), which is as close to treason as is possible.
I don’t know who “peacegirl” is, but “yankeeinoxford” definitely thinks her ignorance is worth quoting. Tying yourself to a radical shows that you are also one yourself, no matter how you try to omit your partisan standing. As with the last comment, we see that this person ignores the facts to push hateful rhetoric. Neither Sarah nor Todd Palin have supported the AIP, and just because they have been in the same room with them in the past, doesn’t mean they hold those beliefs. There is a difference between Barack being a member of The New Party and a member of Trinity United’s congregation and Sarah Palin having spoken to them. One is an active member while the other is a passive observer. Ignoring this logic, however, these idiots have decided they won’t let common sense get in the way of attacking a “hockey mom”. Pathetic.
I could keep going on, but I think my point is clear. This “gorilla-style” attack of Republicans isn’t fooling anyone. You want to change the minds of voters so that they choose your candidate, be honest and straight forward. What do we get instead? Partisan hacks trying to use dishonest practice like these to get votes. This is bad enough, but we are threatened and even assault by these far-left lunatics for not “drinking the Kool-Aid”. What does race have to do with the political choices Americans make? Critics of Obama are automatically called racists now, even by high level Democrats. We even get this from members of the MSM, and it is downright disgusting that so many reporters are throwing their credibility to the wind for a man like Obama. For reporters like Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Soledad O’Brien, etc they will never be able to repair their credibility after what they pulled during this election, but to thers who are traveling down that path, ask yourself, is your career worth destroying to see this disturbed man, this coward of a politician elected?
Be honest about your bias or be balanced on the stories you report. Just like with these clearly partisan “independent” or “undecided” voters, we are getting sick and tired of your lies. Be straight with us or get lost….
