Had an argument with a few idiots about Obama’s economic promises, seems they can’t understand what sub-prime loans have to do with the economic crisis America is facing (yes, real morons). Being a graduate of economic studies at the University of Ottawa, I could tell you that loan renegotiation would bring about more problems, but I didn’t know about his plans for subsidies for private entrepreneurs to build low-income units. Everyone gets a home right? Wrong…

Grove Parc Plaza is a development which was supposed to be a proving ground for this plan. For eight years, Obama providing funding for developments like this, providing funding for private owners to build and take care of housing for many of the disenfranchised in his riding. Instead of bringing about change, as he promised, he created new slums and much of that money which went into the project got kicked back up to him in the form of campaign contributions. This is how he operates folks…

Boston.com wrote an article about this in June, and I suggest you read it. The Obama campaign refused to comment on this, ignoring calls from the Boston Globe reporters, but this isn’t a surprise. Ever since he took the Democratic nomination, he has given the press the “cold shoulder”, even going out of his way to alienate some of them like Adam Nagourney, co-author of “Poll Finds Obama Isn’t Closing Divide on Race”, a piece that Obama didn’t like.

With Tony Rezko “singing like a canary” for federal prosecutors, it would be nice if he could tie Obama to this housing disaster, along with several other inappropriate activities. With ACORN fraud hitting the front page now, hopefully we will see Barack get punished for this at the polls in November. If not, expect the poor in America to suffer in housing that can’t even pass a safety inspections. Do voters really want to waste money on that? I doubt it, but by January they might not even have a choice.

Welcome to socialist economics people, everyone but the extreme rich lose…

UPDATE: Not just me, but it seems there is panic in the markets as Obama raises in the polls. Even investors can see what economic ruin this man will bring, too bad his supporters can’t.

UPDATE: Now even Michelle Malkin is covering Obama’s comment. Wonder if CNN and the rest of the MSM will be pick this up in an attempt to save their credibility. Here’s hoping.
