Years of over drinking has led to this; Too many things wrong with this advertisement

Finished watching it? Bumped into this on Hot Air while I was bouncing around the internet keeping up to date on this election. I don’t go to those far-left sites, I would rather spend my time reading intelligent reporting, rather then mindless factless dribble. Had a laugh before I saw these idiots discussing “Change” when Obama came on the TV, addressing an audience about his plans for America. These idiots are simply projecting their fantasies on a man who hasn’t done anything in his political career to suggest he is even capable of meeting their expectations, but oh no, he is a “new” type of politician who they can believe in. His skin colour doesn’t excuse that this man has been part of the problem, that he is “more of the same”, and let’s not forget that there is nothing new about the message he is preaching. Since when is socialism, Marxism, and communism anything new?
I could go on and on about how idiot this is, but let’s break it down brain dead moron by brain dead moron…
Evicted twit sitting by the TV – So he has the classified in his hand, looking for a job, watching a McCain speech on TV. Where to begin? Well, let’s start with this guy not having a job. As I wrote in Bad economic policy, you don’t create jobs by taxing those who offer them. Higher taxes means higher operating costs, and if operating costs are too high, then wages are cut and people are let go. What is hard to understand about this? You don’t even need an economics degree to figure it out, matter of fact, a certain plumber got in trouble for questioning Obama on this. I guess “15 minutes of fame” can drop your IQ…
The next thing raised by this idiot is that he is being evicted from his home. Now who is to blame for that? I discussed much of this is Destroying the economy to win votes, that this, for the most part, is the Democrats fault. Jimmy Carter enacted the Community Reinvestment Act which forced banks to make risky loans, Bill Clinton repealed the Glass-Steagall Act which was originally put in place in 1933 following the economic collapse to prevent such a thing from happening again, and then the Democrats protected predatory lenders like Fannie-Mae and Freddie-Mac as sub-prime lending eroded the housing market. Do you think loan renegotiation will change that? It is that kind of thinking that got Americans into this situation, and it will only dig this hole deeper, not provide a way out.
Before even thinking about all these plans for “affordable housing” Obama is offering, why not take a look at the housing he provided the people of his district? I don’t think those living at Grove Parc Plaza would want other Americans living in those awful conditions…
Moron in casts – I guess what we should be seeing when looking at this moron is that only socialized health care can help him. A broken arm and crack vertebrae? Looks like he also needs to stop over drinking since it is obvious that all happened while intoxicated. Canada itself has tried to deal with socialized health care and many now are suggesting that the system itself is broken. Barack Obama gave these speeches about how his mother’s suffer was prolonged by the “greed” of heath insurers, suggesting that none of it would have happened under a system similar to ours. He’s right of course, his mother would have instead died while waiting for a life-saving procedure on a waiting list. This is one of the issue that forced Ralph Klein, the former Premier of Alberta,to retire from politics. He had proposed a two-tier health system to deal with the problems in Alberata’s health care system and was crucified for it by the Liberals, NDP and even members of the MSM. With waiting lists getting longer, many Canadians have actually gone to America for procedures like Cancer treatment. Does that mean the American health system is great? Not at all, it is broken, just like Canada’s. David Gratzer of the City Journal wrote a nice article about this, and I suggest you read it, especially if you believe a system like ours would solve any of the problems faced by Americans.
What are these problems? Well Obama stated that many can’t afford health care, something I find rather hard to believe. Dr. David Gratzer, the author of The Cure: How Capitalism Can Save American Health Care, has said on numerous occasions that the majority of uninsured in America choose not to pay for coverage because they simply don’t want to. Julia A. Seymour from the Business & Media Institute actually put out a piece addressing this last year, stating that the number of people who actually can’t afford health care is far less than Micheal Moore, Barack Obama and others are letting on. Why won’t Americans even pay for minimal health care coverage then, which is roughly $100 a month? Larry Elder tackled this on his radio show last week, stating, like CNN’s Sanjay Gupta has before, that many believe they don’t need it because they are in good health, preferring to spend money on luxury goods like gym memberships and protein supplements. Maybe this guy should spend less on beer so that he can afford to pay for health coverage. That’s WASSUP you twit!
Incompetent suicidal investor – I actually found this part rather amusing, that after 8 years he put on so much weight that he couldn’t kill himself by hanging. Word of advice for fatty, don’t drink and invest at the same time. I guess putting your money in Fannie-Mae and Freddie-Mac after Democrat Barney Frank said that things would get better, wasn’t such a smart move. Okay, now that the laughs are over, let’s be serious…
As stated above, the blame for this lies squarely in Democrats misleading Americans and standing against attempts to prevent this by Republicans. I believe that Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Gregory Meeks and even Barack Obama should be investigated for their parts in this collapse, but let’s not forget Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid, two other Democrats who have cost Americans TRILLIONS of dollars due to criminal neglect and partisan politics. As I stated in Destroying the economy to win votes, these people let the first bailout bill fail to win political points for the upcoming election. Pelosi, Frank and Obama could have easily brought in the twelve votes that would have gotten this piece of legislation passed, knowing full well that Republicans weren’t going to support something that would cost tax payers billions, but decided not too. How is that “hope” and “change”? John McCain suspended his campaign to try to get the first bailout bill passed, so why is everyone upset with him when he actually DID something? It gets better…
In a recent poll, seventy-four percent of America’s CEOs believe Obama would be disastrous for the economy. The New York Post reported on this as well, that as Obama leads in the polls, the markets suffer. This article reported that “his plan includes some of the most lethal tax increases imaginable”, that markets would most likely suffer under an Obama Presidency, and that contrary to popular opinion that he won’t stick to his plans for increased taxes, Charles Gasparino, the author of the article, notes that this is unlikely since it would go against his Senate record of over taxing and over spending (a statement I firmly agree with). When even CNBC is discussing this, I would say that your investments would do better under a McCain Presidency, no matter what these drunks think.
Moron on the battlefield and other caught in a storm – I honestly don’t understand how any of this makes sense, but I will try to explain it in the best way possible. Let’s start with the guy who “stuck” on the battlefield, instead of being home with his loser friends having a beer while they are evicted from their homes. I would say this is a shot at soldiers, and I am offended that they paint their service as anything less than honourable. What these drunks are trying to say here is that if Obama was in the White House, their buddy wouldn’t be in Iraq or Afghanistan. Forgetting that this man said, in the last debate, not only that he would “phase out troops overtime” (I caught it too Larry Elder, but I guess no one else did) but that he would “take out” Pakistan if “they got into our sights”, not something someone claiming to end the wars would say. Let’s not forget his plans to “fight genocide” by going into Darfur, then going back to Iraq when the Sunnis and Shiites start killing each other with the help of Saudi Arabia and Iran. It is more likely that America will find itself in whole new wars if Obama is elected, so this whole reference is misguided and downright offensive. Let’s not forget that for him to be “chillin’ on the phone” like that, it must be because our troops have made the country much safer than it was before… Just a thought…
I would have to say the hurricane example is just downright confusing. I haven’t “drank the Kool-Aid”, so please explain to me how “The One” plans to end tropical storms? Is it in the nearly a billion dollars of new spending he promises if elected? Does it have to do with his “Messiah powers”? Did you actually believe him when he said “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal”? This is just downright disturbing that a man believes his nomination could halt the nature itself, and anyone who believes this is far more delusional then even I could imagine. You wouldn’t just have to be drunk, but on some hallucinogenic drug like “acid”. I guess “watching the game, having a Bud” just wouldn’t do anymore eh?
*****
I would have to say this is all downright disturbing and pathetic, just another sad “celebrity” endorsement from people who don’t know better. Anyone who would take these political statements seriously probably has had too much to drink, that or they are more delusioned than these “has-beens” and far more stupid. Problem is I actually did enjoy their commerical eight years ago…
At a time like this, I just wish I could sit down and watch the game with a cold Budweiser in my hand. Hopefully tomorrow I can do just that when my Cowboys take on the Buccaneers in Dallas… Now that would be cool…
UPDATE: Right before the the start of this Sunday’s NFL games, I went on Michelle Malkin’s webpage to find a link to an article by Mark Levin. While he can be extreme at times, I believe Mark Levin is one of the better political minds on radio today. I spend hours listening to podcasts of his show, real “red meat” for a man like myself, and while I don’t always agree, he is far more intelligent than most of the people in the MSM. I recommend readers of my blog give this article a look, if not spend some serious time listening to past radio shows by “The Great One”.
I hope everyone can read your take on what is going especially “The CHosen One”…This will be so hilarious if it were not true. Great blogging.
