What is wrong with these people? I take some time away from NFL Football to check up on political news, swing by Michelle Malkin’s page and I come across this story about Charles Karel Bouley, a Huffington Post writer and KGO radio host, who wished for the death of Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, also known as Joe the Plumber. Why isn’t the main stream press reporting on this?
What gets me is that this seems normal behaviour for these far-left radicals and yet no one seems bothered by this? I thought this kind of craziness was limited to Randi Rhodes an her colleagues at Air America. No one seemed bothered when she said Sarah Palin probably sleeps with teenage boys, but any time something is said by conservatives, it is in the news. I criticized Charlie Turner for his slanted story about John Boehner’s comment, discussing how people felt instead of discussing whether or not what the House Minority Leader said was true. To those like Turner, it doesn’t matter though, stories about far-left radical lunacy doesn’t seem to bother them, not even when death threats are thrown around.
Back to the point, not even a week after Carol Anne Berger, a Huffington Post election correspondent, took her own life after brutally stabbing her lesbian lover to death (brutally being 220 stabs with a screwdriver), we have this. Who does the hiring over there? What qualifications do you need to work there? All that seems certain is a lack of professionalism. You wouldn’t see this with Hot Air, you wouldn’t see this with NewsBusters, but this seems all too common with these left-wing loons. I would like to know whether or not Arianna Huffington will actually be responsible for once and make a statement about this mental midget…
I have been very critical of those I think have crossed the line. I tear out people who I believe deserve being put in their place, but you wouldn’t catch me calling for the death of anyone I didn’t agree with. As Larry Elder said, why do we have “hate crime” and “hate speech” laws when they aren’t applied fairly? It is almost like radical liberals get a pass on their behaviour, that it is almost expected of them to cross the line, to act unethical. This is the reason why I don’t spend much, if any time reading their posts.
If anything, these recent events further discredit the works of those at the Huffington Post. It isn’t just Arianna herself, but many of those working for her share this demented woman’s views. No matter what CNN and other do to mainstream HuffPos, they continue to show themselves to be of the radical fringe more than anything. The question is whether or not it was Arianna herself forcing them to take the “Kool-Aid”, or are they freely “drinking it”? Either way, they have had too much.
UPDATE: Michelle Malkin is reporting now that Charles Karel Bouley has been fired for his death threat. It seems that sometimes people do punish radicals for their outbursts.
