If it isn’t Seth MacFarlane and the Family Guy, it is television personalities like Donny Deutsch who show the rest of us just how hypocritical these “progressives” really are. Mark Levin has come to refer to them as “regressives” because of their very backwards of views on society, and I couldn’t agree more. When it comes to issues like race, not just the disabled (in Seth’s case), they have a very low opinion of those with colour, especially when they disagree with them. For those with a clouded view on liberal politics, or a lack of understand of the concept of hypocrisy, this post isn’t for you.
Hot Air’s Allahpundit, as well as Michelle Malkin and NewsBusters.org’s Scott Whitlock have reported on CNBC Contributer Donny Deutsch’s racial slur, calling Republican Marco Rubio a “coconut”. Appearing on the Joy Behar Show, Deutsch let his true colurs show during a conversation with the show’s host about the nature of politicians and how for someone to be successful, they should be a “blank sheet of paper”. Behar didn’t question, nor even flinch at the use of the racial slur (but Black Friday is racist Joy?), begging the question of whether or not such language is common place when the cameras are off. What does one say about this kind of behaviour? There is a lot someone can say about Marco Rubio, that he is a young up and commer within the Republican Party, that he is an unknown and very much untested, but I can tell you that the first thing going through my head isn’t “he’s a Republican coconut”. Is he a “race traitor” too Deutsch?
Lachlan Markay at NewsBusters.org, as well as Philip Klein at The American Spectator are covering a story about a post at TheRoots by Michael Arceneaux titled “Black Folks We’d Like To Remove From Black History”. Aside from killers and convicts, Arceneaux has put black conservatives like Micheal Steele and Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas for the simple reason that they are black conservatives. Joe Hicks from PJTV’s Hick’s File has spoken about this kind of racism previously, saying that those who don’t fit the narrative are ignored and/or demonized. Not only this though as Arceneaux seems to wish harm on Judge Thomas by saying “I’m not sure if the late Thurgood Marshall would want to pop Clarence ‘side his head with his gavel, but there are plenty of blacks who would volunteer to do it for him.” So you aren’t “black” unless you are willing to physically assault “race traitors”?
This video was in response to the racist accusations by MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann and others concerning racial diversity within the Tea Party protests. If it isn’t Marvel Comics using Captain America to demonize them, it is people like Jon Stewart who seem to perpetuate the notion that criticism of Obama in any form, including the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), is done by whites and only whites because of our deeply held racial beliefs. These people just can’t stand the idea that minorities don’t behave like they are somehow supposed to as dictated by their skin colour. This defies the narrative and they can’t comprehend why these people wouldn’t act according to their given stereotype. It isn’t that I have any ideas about how society should be prejudice free, I understand that everyone has their own beliefs, politically correct or not, but these individuals are always accusing those who won’t support radicalism of being racist, when they themselves are so blatantly bigoted. How “progressive” is it to have these kind of beliefs? Explain to me how such backwards thinking should be tolerated in our tolerant society?
Those who believe as these people do should be exposed as the hypocrites they are. Every time one of these racists dares accuse us of racism, remind their audience just how regressive these progressives are… Pathetic…
UPDATE: Let me spend a little more time explaining what I meant as it might not have been clear previously when I discussed “the narrative”. As I stated, liberal thinkers like Seth MacFarlane, Keith Olbermann, Jon Stewart, Donny Deutsch, etc have this nonsensical notion that minorities, whether they are of a particular ethnic group or, in Andrea Friedman’s case, a special needs group, owe something to the Democratic Party. They point to social programs like welfare, which has done little more than perpetuate a lifestyle of dependency on the state by people of these groups, as cause for them to swear absolute loyalty. This is why they lash out at those who don’t fit the mold. To these “regressives”, people who don’t fit the mold are essentially traitor for turning on those who have “done so much for them”. Let’s not forget that in its early history, the Democratic Party was doing its best to deny rights to minorities. If the Republican Party was as white as these people would want us to believe, why did prominent black community leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. vote for them? Definitely historical revisionism on the part of these political radicals…
Why rewrite the history book though? What purpose does it serve to create this kind of fiction? It is all about recruiting the ignorant, especially the youth. While they usually don’t vote, influencing enough of them may be enough to swing crucial elections. That is why it is important to remind these ignorant would-be voters that the very people accusing others of racism are the racists themselves. In all my time listening to conservative talk radio and reading conservative writings, whether it be Larry Elders, Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin or Charles Krauthammer, I have never heard anything racist nor inflammatory, especially nothing that could compare to this kind of garbage. You read post after post, comment after comment, about how these “peace loving”/”violence hating” individuals would love nothing better than to poison a conservative commentator’s coffee or rape them violently (what do you think that Playboy article was about?), aside from a variety of other twisted desires that they have swirling around in their heads.
This is why I write these posts, why I spend all this time sitting at my computer dealing with this bullshit. They want to pretend that this isn’t the case, but do your research, these “progressives” are among the vilest people you will meet. Walking, talking hypocritical political radicals who refuse to play by the rules they set out for the rest of us, especially those of colour who are demonized for not fulfilling their “proper” stereotypical role in society… Pathetic…
UPDATE: What did I say about these people not being able to comprehend that people of colour don’t all follow the narrative? Keith Olbermann replies to the Dallas Texas Tea Party by saying those that bought into this story about racial diversity at the Tea Party protests are gullible. Colby Hall from Mediaite has more.
We’re gullible? Well then, we are in fine company with the many other media websites that also covered the very same story, including Politico and TVNewser. And truth be told, we were the only site that first highlighted Olbermann’s point-of-view. But, judge not, lest ye be judged — so let’s look at the diversity of guests championed by Olbermann.
According to Olbermannwatch, the admittedly anti-Olbermann website claims to have looked at the guests on Countdown for the last two weeks and found just two African-American guests compared to 46 white guests. Oops.
Olbermann Watch counted the amount of racial diversity (or lack thereof) in Olbermann’s own show, finding that Eugene Robinson was the only minority guest during the last ten episodes.
Matter of fact, Robinson is the “token” minority commentator for not only Olbermann’s show, but other MSNBC shows like Rachel Maddow’s and Chris Matthew’s (MSNBC racial diversity at its finest). Hot Air has more, along with a video from Keith’s show, but there isn’t much to look at, much to Allahpundit’s disappointment (he was hoping for this to turn into a full scale feud I imagine). It does seem that he did his best to ignore the Dallas Texas Tea Party, knowing full well that he has been caught lying and that addressing their video would expose this to his already shrinking audience… Pathetic…
UPDATE: While not solely addressing liberal racism, Andrew Klavan from PJTV has a new video concerning how these hypocrites think. Enjoy!
