Christian Harstock of Andrew Breitbart’s BigGovernment.com has a video up on Breitbart TV about an event he attended in Palm Springs called “Uncloaking the Kochs.” The rally, sponsored by Common Cause, AFFCE, The Ruckus Society, 350, Greenpeace, Code Pink, the Progessive Democrats of America, and others, a collection of far-left organizations which demonstrated just how “civil” they really are.
Lynching Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas? I think commenter shane7776’s post is appropriate.
Hey look the KKK is back in the Democrat Party. MARXIST=DEMOCRATS=TERRORIST All the same. Just ask all the Klan members in the Democrat Party.
Harstock does have a post up on BigGovernment.com discussing his video, so I would recommend my modest readership give it a look.
I have to say that this doesn’t surprise me. A group filled with hateful and apparently racist people, not members of the Tea Party, got together to be angry and do drugs (some of those interviewed by Harstock definitely appeared under the influence of something). This isn’t anything new. Youtube is filled with videos that are similar. Both Brian Maloney of Radio Equalizer and Andrew Breitbart have made a living out of exposing this kind of nonsense by left. What this video does show is that, even in this “new era of civility,” which the left themselves want, which they are forcing on the rest of us, they themselves can’t remain the least bit civil. Next time someone says that it is conservatives, not these “progressives,” that are the hateful ones, take one of these videos and prove them wrong.
Have to give Christian Harstock credit for getting this video. I don’t think I could have maintained my composure among so many ignorant, ill-informed and downright hateful people.
UPDATE: Michelle Malkin has posted on the “Uncloaking the Kochs” event, pointing to previous incidents of the same nature. Once again, this is just the latest in a long line of incidents which demonstrate who is the worst offender when it comes to pushing this “climate of hate.”
UPDATE: Almost forgot to mention a recent post by Michelle Malkin concerning Chick-Fli-A, a family-owned chicken-sandwich chain started by Georgian entrepreneur Truett Cathy in 1946. The restaurant chain, which is run by devout Christians, if under attack for “glorifying God.” Apparently, being a churchgoer automatically makes you “anti-gay” and guilty of violating the gay community’s “human rights.”
If you live near a Chick-Fli-A, take your friends and family and defy these protesters by ordering a meal off the restaurant’s menu. Fight this bigotry with a delicious chicken sandwich…
UPDATE: Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey has also put up a post concerning the “Uncloaking the Kochs” event. Despite the calls to lynch not only Clarence Thomas, but his wife, Ginny Thomas and Roger Ailes, Morrissey doesn’t think that the media will report on this. I have to agree since if it doesn’t fit the “conservatives are violent racists” narrative, it doesn’t make the news. Ask yourself, when was the last time you saw a major news outlet, other then Fox News, reported on any of this?
In any event, I recommend that my modest readership give Ed Morrissey’s post a read as discusses in greater detail what occurred at this event, as well as pointing to others, like RB at The Right Sphere, that have weighed in on the hypocrisy of attendees who accuse the right of hateful and racist rhetoric while demanding that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, a black man, be “sent back to the fields” or lynched.
UPDATE: John Sexton has a post up at Hot Air discussing the speech Van Jones, admitted Maoist, gave at the “Uncloaking the Kochs” event. Suffice to say, it is just as racist as what was being said by attendees in the video Christian Harstock posted at Breitbart TV. Here’s the video via Russia Today America.
I knew he had attended the event since he is shown in the video which started this story, but I didn’t know whether he gave a speech or if he was just a guest. I have written about Van Jones previously, so it doesn’t surprise me that he is still pushing his warped agenda. I guess if any radical organization wants its events to make the headlines, they better have him giving a speech.
I recommend my modest readership give John Sexton’s post a read. He goes into great detail in tearing apart Van Jones’ offensive speech.
